Numerical simulation of heat transfer intensification options in the channels of a thermoelectric generator plant

This article discusses some options for improving the efficiency of an experimental thermoelectric generator set designed to study, design and create power plants this type, during direct operation which there are no fuel combustion processes intended supply industrial consumers located at a considerable distance from centralized supply, namely, objects production, distribution transportation natural gas, schematic diagram mentioned plant is shown, principle main advantages its application described. Improving installation in present study consists intensifying heat transfer profiled channels rectangular cross section, through flows gaseous coolant with different temperatures supplied. Several variants possible intensification consist implementation intensifiers inside form transverse solid partitions, alternately changing direction movement. In presented numerical simulation several geometric dimensions flow section baffles installed these was carried out. conclusion, results effectiveness methods used evaluated, most optimal one selected.
